The biggest advantage of using color masterbatch is that in the processing process, under the action of additives, the color masterbatch is fully mixed and fully combined with the carrier resin. When in use, it is placed in the resin to be processed according to a certain proportion, and the color masterbatch quickly enters the role and recognizes "family" with the resin. Affinity compatibility is obviously better than toner coloring. Therefore, it is more appreciated by manufacturers of film and spinning products.

Of course, the coloring of masterbatch also has its limitations. Due to the small amount of addition and the short processing time of plastic products, the dispersion of masterbatch is often not as good as toner due to the limitation of the length diameter ratio of extruder screw. With one more manufacturing process, the dyeing cost must be higher than that of toner coloring. When the performance of the carrier in the color masterbatch is different from that of the resin to be colored, there are often non dispersed points, color spots and patterns on the surface of plastic products. Therefore, the use of color masterbatch is limited due to its compatibility and dispersion.
